Blog Tour & Double Review: Unseen Messages by Pepper Winters

From New York Times Bestseller Pepper Winters comes a timeless love story answering the question of what happens when everything is stripped away.

Blog Tour Unseen Messages

“There is a message for everything. From handwritten to verbal, seen and unseen. Messages exist all around us.”

But what if you don’t see?

What if you don’t understand?

What if, by ignoring the message, your life is never the same again?

Estelle Evermore morphed from nobody to somebody overnight.

Galloway Oak put his past behind him and endeavored to make his fortune using his trade.

Two strangers.

One plane.

Multiple unseen messages.

From sky to island, they find neither fame nor skills can save them. Stripped from society and left alone to survive the elements, the very task of staying alive outweighs all other needs.

Until survival turns to desire.

And desire turns to danger.

Patricia‘s Review – 5 Stars: ☆☆☆☆☆

Unseen MessagesUnseen Messages by Pepper Winters

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There are some books that take our breath away, some we love and some unforgettable. This book takes all these categories and I will even say, that this story is one of my favorite ever and that will stay in my mind forever.

While reading it, I wanted it to end fast because I couldn’t wait to see how they would survive and live. At the other way, I never wanted it to end, as I was so captivated by their feelings, their survival, their almost death…

Pepper Winters wrote one of the most beautiful romances of all the time. This book is so different from everything she wrote so far, but I would read it all over again and again….
It’s a very big book. Yes it is, but if it was written as a series it wouldn’t have captured every sensation, because you can’t literally stop reading and want more and more and in the end you understand everything, there’s not much to wonder about what could have happened. It’s perfect and complete.

The characters are real. You absorb every feeling, every wound, every smile, every bit of hope, every delusion they have and will hit you hard. What would you do in their place? How would you act? You simply don’t know! You would have to live day by day as they did and hope to stay alive. They are strong, determined, hopeful.
Galloway made me swoon with his male determination. The way he falls in love with Estelle will take your breath away!
Estelle almost looks like a vulnerable woman but from the beginning you will see that vulnerable is something she isn’t. She’s strong, a giver, determined young woman that will make everything that’s takes to survive. Without her they would die faster… since the firsts messages until the very end, her dedication to the others lead to a HEA that might bring tears to your eyes.

Angst, friendship, lust, love, danger, death, hunger, thirst, hope, reality, nature, longing, happiness… there’s everything in it. Grab this book and see yourself falling in love for this story as I did!

Ana‘s Review 5 Stars: ☆☆☆☆☆

Unseen MessagesUnseen Messages by Pepper Winters

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

—Read and reviewed for The Bookery Review—

Angsty doesn’t even begin to describe this storyline. This isn’t a dark story and yet Pepper excelled, like always and wrote a beautiful and heart wrenching love story.
“Unseen Messages” is a story filled with drama and sensuality. Those two ingredients were enough to keep me up reading like a lunatic. Wherever and whenever I had the chance.
Just like the cover says, this is a story about survival, about finding happiness in the simple things in life.
It’s the story of Estelle Evermore and Galloway Oak or “G”, his nickname. Who read “The Monsters in the dark” series will certainly remember “Q”. Here, we have “G”.
Galloway and Estelle were brought together by fate.
Who would say that their lives would change that day? Who would say that August 29th would be the beginning of something new?
A crash. An island. Four souls. Two soul mates.
The story is told from both POV (which gives the reader the two perspectives) and it’s like watching a movie in 4D. You can almost smell the scents, feel the sand in your feet, the warmth, the cold, the rain, the sadness, the lack of food, the grief, … Everything is so detailed! Pepper had the super-power to take us with her and travel to the island with Estelle and G. It’s as if we’re there watching but they can’t see us.
I loved Estelle. Her strength. Her courage. And I fell in love with Galloway. How could I not? He’s sex on a stick but at the same time he’s so much more than that. He’s a broken man, haunted by his past, looking for redemption.
The sexual tension between Estelle and G is off the charts. It’s panty-melting. The sex scenes are sexy and tender and filled with love-lust.
Although the spark between them is instant, this is not a love at first sight kind of story. Estelle and G had to endure lots of things and walk a painful road to reach and understand their true feelings for each other.
The story may seem predictable at some point but then an unpredictable twist of events occurs and you don’t know where the story is going anymore.
This book leaves us thinking. Maybe we receive messages everyday and we just don’t want to see them. Some may lead us to bad choices. But the others are like torches, guiding us the way to the future. To happiness. To salvation. Estelle and G needed this in order to save themselves.
In the slightest possibility that Pepper Winters is not your author of choice, believe me, you will love this story. Give it a try. This book is completely different from her previous ones. It’s tender. It’s adventurous. It’s outrageous. It’s remarkable.
I believe Pepper Winters got out of her comfort zone with this book and I’m so thankful for it. This book deserves an award because stories like this are rare. They’re magical. They stay with us.
I love her work and this one is just another proof that she can write whatever she wants. I’ll always one click.
