I’ve led a charmed life, and I’m not going to blow it now by picking the wrong guy.
I’ve got my sights set on my brother’s best friend.
He’s known my family for years. He’s reliable and kind and handsome.
Sure, he’s been avoiding me since I was six.
I’m a bit aggressive for him, maybe.
But he’s the one… right?
RIGHT is a full-length standalone novel.
This novel features Everly, Sophie’s best friend from the novel Wrong.
Both books were written as standalones and can be read without the other.
Patricia‘s Review – 5 Stars: ☆☆☆☆☆
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Ever since I read Wrong, the debut novel by Jana Aston, I knew Everly’s would make into a book and I’m so glad I was so RIGHT!
Before I get into my thoughts about this book, I need to say that Jana is a brilliant author. She finds every bit of fun in everything, making her stories light, wild and real, the words flow, entertaining the reader until the last page. You can’t not laugh with her books! She brings the most incredible alpha males and crazy females to life making you want to be friends with them!
Please don’t stop writing! For the love of cats, you need to keep going!
After reading Right, you will understand how right (sorry can’t help it) the title is for everything in this book.
The plot, the characters, the twist (this one made me nervous, I wasn’t expecting it at all), the end… everything in it blends!
Right is a funny, light romance, with the most enthralling and a bit crazy characters you will ever read!
Sawyer… oh boy, what a man! I could see myself being swept off my feet by a man like him. Truly alpha, with a great sense of humor, a body to die for, 34 years old (thank you for this, I’m getting tired of young men lol), confident and experienced, this man will make you swoon (and melt your panties) by everything he does to convince Everly they are perfect for each other.
Everly! I would love to have a friend like her! She’s my kind of crazy!
I loved the way she met Sawyer and how she makes him laugh, they are truly perfect for each other, even that at the beginning she don’t want to believe it.
Having a crush all her life on Finn, Everly finally accepts that they will never be together. Sawyer don’t give her another choice, after all the attention he’s giving her, making her realize she would never be happy with someone like Finn.
The way their romance evolve is beautiful, combined with all the craziness that goes into her head and the twist that made me gasp, the end is wonderful!
I really loved the way the story was told, putting Wrong on the same timeline, so if you haven’t read Wrong yet, don’t start Right first, you will have major spoilers and you don’t want to miss Sophie and Luke’s love story.
Now, I hope Jana Aston write Chloe’s story, because that girl have something inside that’s yelling to get out!
“What about you, Everly?”
“What about me what?” I ask, confused.
“Are you seeing anyone?” He looks over at me. “At school?”
Not successfully, I think to myself. “No, not right now. I’m kinda taking a break this semester.”
“Taking a break,” Eric repeats, glancing over at me. “That’s not like you. At all.”
I shrug. “It’s exhausting.”
“What’s exhausting?” he asks, frowning.
“Um—” Breaking and entering, I think. But I can’t tell him that. “You know, the whole ‘does he like me’ thing.”
“If you have to wonder if a guy likes you, then he’s not the right guy for you, Everly.”
“Maybe it’s more complicated than that.”
“It’s never more complicated than that.”
