about-the-book

four-crows-cover-social-media-size “You’ll have to forgive me, Darlin’, for all the unforgivable things I’m about to do…”
Loyalty is never easy – especially when you’re forced to choose between family and the man you would do anything to possess…
Born into a world that no child should endure, Magpie “Maggie” Crow is doted on by her loving father and over protective brothers. As much as she loves them, she fears them, especially when she learns secrets they’ve kept hidden.
Elliot McLaughlin joined the U.S. Marine Corps right out of high school to provide for his wife and son. He’d never intended to become a father so young, but was willing to do what it took to give his family everything they needed.
After Elliot’s family goes missing, he returns from war to an empty home. Obsessed with discovering who took his family, he investigates their disappearance and plots his revenge.
Passion brings Maggie and Elliot together. Obsession pushes them apart. As a bitter battle begins between Elliot and the Crows, Maggie’s heart hangs in the balance.

REVIEW

Patricia‘s Review – 4 Stars: ☆☆☆☆

Four CrowsFour Crows by Lily White

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was my first Lily White read and I enjoyed her writing as well as the twists.

Revenge. That’s what this book is all about.
Elliot seeks it after his wife and son disappear for 14 years. He will find what happened to them and make sure the responsible would pay. What he didn’t expect was to fall in love for a Crow.
This story is violent. It’s not fully romantic, although there’s some sick love in it. I don’t mind the age difference, they are both adults, so that don’t bother me at all.
Maggie was a little child when Michael disappeared. She couldn’t do anything to prevent it, or understand what happened, but later she had a choice… and she did nothing!

The truth to what happened to the little boy is hard to take and for me the most emotional scene in the whole book!
